Dermacol Film Studio Make-up cover

First off, if you haven’t got this. GET IT !

I got recommended this by somebody in a make-up and beauty group via Facebook and I have to say I was a little dubious but when other people started commenting on how amazing it was I had to try it out.. And for £6 I couldn’t complain !
Its is generally used for people with bad scars, birth marks and things that a regular foundation would find difficult to cover but who doesn’t love a great high coverage foundation?!

A quick quote from their websites description:
DERMACOL MAKE-UP COVER provides PERFECT COVERAGE even in thin layers and is the perfect corrector for dark under-eye, unpleasant spots and skin blemishes. It completely covers acne, loss of pigmentation, post surgical bruising, tattoos etc. It may be used on the entire face or body for color correction, darkening or lightening the skin tones.

This is waterproof, hypoallergenic, can be used for all skin types and is preservative free ! It is also spf30 which is brilliant in my opinion !

I got shade 208 as I am white as a sheet! When it arrived I thought the tube was very small and that the contents wouldn’t last that long.. But you only need a pea sized amount to cover your entire face! The coverage is very high, I have found I don’t even need to use any green concealer to cancel out the redness in my face it covers that well! Yet it doesn’t make you look like you could scrap it off your face, the finish is lovely and doesn’t sit in your pores.
Coverage 10/10

The texture is of a very creamy consistancy, so creamy it actually looks edible !
Texture 8/10

This foundation goes on so smoothly and spreads so well! The tiniest speck covered the whole of one side of my face completely and didn’t need hardly any blending. One application is all that is needed, no layering !
Application 10/10

Staying power
I’ve found after setting with a good powder it stays on ALL day with no need to re-apply throughout.  You don’t need to set with powder as the appearance is matte anyway but I would recommend setting.
Staying power 9/10

Another thing I’d like the add is as a very pale woman I find it very hard to find foundations and conclears that fit my skin tone perfectly. Usually nobody does them light enough and I end up looking like I’ve been tangoed as they say! (And that’s with lightest ivory!) But the shades on this are great if you have light skin like me  and they do different tones. Unfortunately they don’t do any heavier shades from what I have seen, a dark tan seems to be their  darkest colour !

I would highly highly HIGHLY reccomend this, its easily best thing I’ve ever used on my face. I would buy off eBay as everywhere else seems to be ridiculously priced, I bought mine off eBay for £6 including postage and it arrived in 5 days.

Thanks for reading !
